Premier Season 2 Concludes, Valve Disables Matchmaking

Valve has concluded the second competitive season in Premier mode — matchmaking is no longer available, and the system has been disabled. The developers previously announced that the season would end on July 15, and now it has officially happened. An update is expected to be released tomorrow, marking the start of the new phase.

Premier mode is temporarily unavailable — attempting to start a match results in an error message. This shutdown is part of the preparation for the next competitive season. The anticipated release date for the patch is July 16.

Premier is the main competitive mode in CS2 with an MMR system, map bans, and a seasonal leaderboard. Seasons last approximately three months, after which the ranking is reset, and players start over.
