Vitality reach the 18th playoffs stage in a row

Team Vitality achieved a historic milestone by advancing to the playoffs stage of IEM Dallas 2025, marking the 18th consecutive tournament where they have reached the playoffs.

Vitality secured their playoff spot at IEM Dallas 2025 in a match against GamerLegion . They clinched the series with little difficulty, winning 2-0 — 13:9 on Mirage and 13:10 on Nuke. 

The streak began with their playoff entry at PGL Major Copenhagen 2024. Since then, Vitality has not missed a decisive stage in tier-1 tournaments — now 18 in a row. 

Throughout these tournaments, they have earned over $2.5 million in prize money. This includes their victory at ESL Grand Slam Season 5, where they won $1,000,000. However, considering the two majors the team reached, the total amount is significantly higher.

In addition to 18 consecutive playoffs, they have won 5 tier-1 tournaments in a row, and now the team has the opportunity to win another. They have already advanced to the playoffs but will play against The MongolZ for seeding in the tournament. A win will secure them a spot in the semifinals, while a loss will place them in the quarterfinals.
