Official: m0NESY Joins Falcons

Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov officially joins Falcons , replacing degster on the team. This transfer from G2 was made to avoid losing the player for free, as m0NESY's contract was set to expire in December 2025. G2 decided not to take the risk of waiting until the last moment and opted for an exchange now to have time to build a new team for the next season.

Why did G2 let m0NESY go?
In a statement, the CEO admitted that m0NESY was gradually distancing himself from the team. The uncertainty about his future was hindering negotiations with other players. G2 needed a clear plan and transparency. They do not hide their sadness over this transfer but are grateful to Ilya for his contributions—6 trophies in 2 years, including victories at IEM Cologne 2023 and IEM Katowice 2023.

Departure of degster
degster joined the team on January 4, 2025, along with TeSeS and kyxsan from Heroic . During this time, they won only one PGL Bucharest 2025, where rumors about his departure already surfaced during the tournament. However, this did not prevent him from playing an incredible tournament, finishing with a rating of 6.3.
