DemQQ leaves Monte and joins Passion UA
Sergiy "DemQQ" Demchenko officially left Monte after almost three years of playing for the team.
This exit was a symbolic end of an era, as DemQQ was the last representative of the “golden squad” of Monte that impressed the world at BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023, reaching the quarterfinals. It was with him that the team achieved its greatest achievements in history, including the victory at ESL Challenger Jönköping 2023 and reaching the ESL Pro League S18 playoffs.
Gratitude and parting words
In his address, DemQQ thanked the Monte team for the journey they have made together:
First, I want to thank the Monte team and its staff. For the ups and downs, for the hard and fun times. For the defeats and victories that we have won together. Secondly, I want to wish them all the best, because they really deserve it. Unfortunately, time is not sparing and this is a new opportunity for me. The opportunity to write Ukrainian history under a different tag. Passion UA is my new motto.

Moving to Passion UA
Immediately after the announcement of the farewell, it became known that DemQQ was joining Passion UA . There, he will replace zeRRoFIX and reunite with his former Monte teammate Woro2k , who joined the team earlier. This strengthening can significantly affect the team's results and synergy for new victories, as the team has become more experienced.
