In the recently concluded IEM Cologne quarterfinals match between Mouz and G2, some CSers noticed that after G2 defused the C4 planted by MOUZ in the second half pistol round, MOUZ received a $800 loss bonus instead of $600.

ESL later stated that an incorrect server configuration was indeed used during the match, and this issue had actually occurred before during IEM Dallas.

ESL Senior Product Manager Michael Parsons said: "After switching from the group stage to the knockout stage, this specific setting in the config was incorrect. The error was human and not a bug. We have contacted the teams and will resolve this issue internally. We can confirm that this issue has been resolved for the remaining matches in the knockout stage."
