Casters criticize the organization DetonatioN FocusMe for sudden roster changes
The DFM team, which plans to participate in VCT PACIFIC 2024 KICK-OFF starting from February 17th, announced roster changes precisely at that moment. Player JoXJo joined the team only in November of last year, and his only appearance for DFM was in the "Riot Games ONE PRO INVITATIONAL 2023."

Considering that leagues Challengers have already started in various regions, it becomes difficult for departing players to find teams to join. Critics on the VLR.gg forum expressed their dissatisfaction with the delay in announcing the departures: "Too late," "Players have nowhere to go."
Commenting on this announcement, Taiga Kishi, an official VCT caster, noted:
It's hard to imagine that players with the potential to break into Tier1 could lose a year.
Player Suggest, who left the team, stated in his Twitter post that "the end of the contract was not so sudden" and that there is no need to worry. He also added that he "will take a short break and then start looking for a team again."
DFM finished the previous season without any victories. The team also suffered defeat in three games at Riot Games ONE, which creates additional pressure for victory and leads to roster changes. DFM plans to compete in VCT PACIFIC 2024 KICK-OFF starting from February 17th.
