Nongshim sign Pacific Stage 2 MVP UdoTan after Dambi departure
Nongshim RedForce have signed Go “ UdoTan ” Kyung-won ahead of the 2027 season, bringing the former Global Esports player back to Korean VALORANT.
The announcement follows the departure of Dambi , Nongshim’s star duelist and the Masters Santiago MVP.
Regional champion joins a changing roster
UdoTan arrives after helping Global Esports achieve their strongest VCT season. The Team reached its first international event at Masters London, qualifying through a third-place finish in Pacific Stage 1.
Global Esports subsequently won Pacific Stage 2, completing a reverse sweep against Nongshim in the grand FINAL . UdoTan earned the FINAL ’s MVP award after recording 77 kills, a 220 average combat score and 148 average damage per round.
He now joins the organization he helped defeat in that title match.
Flexibility across several roles
Although UdoTan settled into the primary duelist position during 2026, his earlier career included initiator duties with Rare Atom and time split between sentinel and duelist roles at Global Esports .
That experience gives Nongshim several options as they rebuild following Dambi ’s ExiT .
Nongshim began 2026 by winning Pacific Kickoff and Masters Santiago. Their next campaign starts through the Korean qualifiers for Pacific Kickoff, making the roster’s adjustment to its new personnel an immediate competitive priority.
