FURIA leave main VALORANT competition after five seasons
FURIA have announced their withdrawal from main-roster VALORANT competition after five seasons in the esport.
The decision follows the organisation’s exclusion from Riot Games’ next VCT partnership cycle. All members of FURIA’s end-of-season main roster are now free agents.
Promising start gives Way to roster changes
FURIA began 2026 strongly, going undefeated at Americas Kickoff to qualify for Masters Santiago, their first international event of the partnership era.
They subsequently reached the regional Stage 1 playoffs, but a winless knockout campaign prompted changes to the lineup.
Further adjustments followed during Stage 2. FURIA finished the group stage 0–5 before recovering with a 3–0 Play-In run to reach the playoffs.
That recovery did not carry into the knockout bracket, where another 0–2 finish ended their season without Champions qualification.
Inclusivo update still pending
FURIA said further information would follow regarding FURIA Inclusivo, their Game Changers project.
The announcement therefore leaves the future of that division awaiting a separate update, while confirming the end of the organisation’s current main-team participation.
