Global Esports release VALORANT roster and close competitive operations
Global Esports have announced their withdrawal from competitive esports and the release of their VALORANT roster, ending their involvement following the organization’s most successful VCT season.
Founder and CEO Rushindra Sinha said the decision had been under consideration since discussions about the changing partnership structure began last November.

Sinha said the players would be free to seek opportunities elsewhere. He explained that maintaining the entire organization solely to preserve the lineup was no longer a workable approach under the incoming structure.
The announcement follows a season in which Global Esports won VCT Pacific Stage 2 and reached an international event for the first time.
Organization shifts toward GE Studios
Sinha presented the closure as the end of Global Esports ’ competitive chapter and the beginning of GE Studios, a new project centered on artificial intelligence.
For the players, the immediate consequence is entry into the offseason market as free agents after a breakthrough year together.
