Champions Shanghai final reaches revised peak of 1.49 million viewers
The VALORANT Champions 2026 grand final between LOUD and Team Vitality reached 1.49 million peak concurrent viewers, according to updated figures from Esports Charts.
The revised total replaces the preliminary 1.44 million figure circulated after the final. It puts the championship’s peak approximately 1.21% above the 2025 edition.
Final stands apart from the rest of the tournament
LOUD ’s four-map victory was the only match at Champions Shanghai to exceed one million concurrent viewers.
The next-highest peak came from Paper Rex versus LOUD in the upper-bracket quarterfinals, which attracted approximately 886,000 viewers.
With the updated total, Champions Shanghai ranked third among VALORANT events by peak viewership. Masters Madrid 2024 remained the leader.
Portuguese-language audience grows sharply
Portuguese-language broadcasts recorded an 89.2% year-on-year increase in peak audience, with LOUD ’s championship run driving strong interest.
Japanese- and Spanish-language audiences declined compared with the previous edition, while Korean-language viewership benefited from T1 and Nongshim RedForce reaching the playoffs.
The revision also changes the year-on-year comparison: the final finished slightly ahead of 2025, rather than below it as the preliminary figures suggested.
