Fnatic reportedly select ANGE1 as head coach for VCT 2027
Fnatic are set to appoint ANGE1 as head coach for the 2027 VCT season, according to a Sheep Esports report cited by BO3.
The former Navi player and coach would replace ENGH as part of Fnatic ’s offseason restructuring. Neither the appointment nor its timing has been officially announced.
Coaching change follows difficult season
ANGE1 moved into coaching at Navi before the 2026 season after ending his playing career. His first campaign included visa problems and roster changes, with Navi missing the playoffs in both VCT EMEA stages.
ENGH took charge of Fnatic before Stage 2, but the team exited in the Play-In and finished the season without an international VCT appearance.
Wider rebuild reportedly taking shape
Sheep Esports has also reported agreements for Gentle Mates players marteen and Minny to join Fnatic , with Alfajer expected to move in the opposite direction. Those moves remain unconfirmed.
Fnatic are scheduled to attend Red Bull Home Ground in Los Angeles on December 10–13, but the report concerns ANGE1 ’s appointment for 2027 and does not confirm his involvement in that event.
