North American VCT Kickoff qualifiers offer route to São Paulo and Red Bull Home Ground

Riot Games has unveiled North America’s qualification pathway for VCT Americas Kickoff 2027, linking the competition with Red Bull Home Ground.

Two open qualifiers will run on November 5–8 and November 12–15, using single-elimination, best-of-three brackets.

Swiss stage leads into playoffs

Qualifying teams and invited participants will form a 16-team field.

A Swiss stage on November 20–22 will send eight teams into a double-elimination bracket running December 1–6.

The winner will qualify for VCT Americas Kickoff in São Paulo and secure a place at the Red Bull Home Ground World Final.

The runner-up will also reach Red Bull Home Ground and continue into the Americas Last Chance Qualifier.

Final Americas berth decided in December

The LCQ takes place on December 17–18 in São Paulo, featuring the second-place teams from North America, Brazil and Latin America.

Those teams will compete for the last available Kickoff place.

Registration for North America’s first qualifier opens on October 19. Players must be at least 17 and have reached Ascendant within the previous six months.
