Summit was the most frequently played map during the VALORANT Champions 2026 group stage, while Split produced the strongest attacking-side advantage.
All seven maps in the active rotation appeared during the group stage.
Summit was played 10 times, followed by Lotus with eight appearances.
Sunset and Ascent were each played seven times, Split six, Haven five and Abyss four.
Summit the most balanced map
Summit finished almost perfectly balanced, with attackers and defenders each winning 50% of rounds.
Haven was similarly close, with defenders holding a narrow 52–48 advantage.
Defenders won 55% of rounds on Sunset and 54% on Ascent.
Lotus moved in the opposite direction, with attackers taking 58% of rounds.
Split heavily favors attack
Split produced the largest side imbalance of the group stage.
Attackers won 66% of rounds on the map compared with just 34% for defenders.
Abyss showed the strongest defensive bias, with defenders winning 56% of rounds.
