Team Liquid and Nongshim RedForce survived their respective elimination matches at VALORANT Champions 2026, ending the tournament runs of TYLOO and XLG Esports.
Both Chinese representatives were eliminated from the group stage, while Liquid and Nongshim moved on to their groups' deciding matches for the remaining playoff positions.
Team Liquid 2:1 TYLOO
TYLOO opened the series by falling 8–13 on Split before responding with a 13–7 victory on Summit.
Liquid then dominated the deciding map, taking Lotus 13–2 to close the series 2–1.
Kamil "kamo" Franczak led the match with 261 ACS, 11% above his six-month average according to BO3.
The defeat made TYLOO the first team eliminated from VALORANT Champions 2026. Liquid will next face G2 Esports in the Group C deciding match.
Nongshim RedForce 2:0 XLG Esports
The second elimination series was much closer despite ending in a sweep.
Nongshim RedForce defeated XLG 13–11 on Summit before producing the exact same score on Sunset, winning 13–11 again to complete the 2–0 series.
Kim "Francis" Mu-bin was the standout performer with 294 ACS, 25% above his six-month average.
XLG's defeat ended another Chinese team's Champions campaign, while Nongshim advanced to face Karmine Corp in the Group D deciding match.
The winners of the two deciding matches will secure the remaining playoff berths from Groups C and D.
