Sato and kiNgg reportedly set to join G2 Esports for 2027
G2 Esports is reportedly planning to sign Eduardo Kenzo "Sato" Nagahama Sato and Francisco "kiNgg" Aravena ahead of the 2027 VCT season.
According to journalist Alejandro "anonimotum" Gomis, the pair are expected to replace Andre "BABYBAY" Francisty and Jacob "valyn" Batio.
The proposed moves have not yet been officially confirmed, with negotiations expected to be completed after the current season ends and the transfer window opens.
G2 still considering fifth slot
A final decision regarding Alexander "jawgemo" Mor has also not been made.
G2 are reportedly considering both retaining the player and exploring alternatives for the final position in the roster.
Sato joined Leviatán in May 2025, while kiNgg has represented the organization since November 2021.
The pair helped Leviatán win VALORANT Masters London 2026, where the team defeated Paper Rex 3:2 in the Grand Final.
valyn has been part of G2 since 2023 and helped the organization win all three VCT Americas tournaments in 2025 as well as VCT 2026: Americas Stage 1.
BABYBAY originally joined as a stand-in in July 2025 before becoming a permanent starter in November.
G2's full 2027 lineup remains unconfirmed as the organization prepares for the offseason.
