Vitality CEO says organization will leave VALORANT without partnership slot

Team Vitality CEO Fabien "Neo" Devide has stated that the organization will leave VALORANT if it fails to secure a partnership position for the next VCT cycle.

Neo explained that partnership status is essential for Vitality to continue investing in the title.

"If we don't become partners, we simply won't be represented in VALORANT anymore," Neo said.

The CEO also revealed that Vitality has been close to signing a Game Changers roster for approximately two years.

If the organization receives partnership status, it intends to remain in VALORANT and could expand its involvement into the women's competitive scene.

Vitality heading to Champions Shanghai

Vitality's future in VALORANT therefore remains tied to Riot's selection process for the next partnership cycle.

The organization endured a disappointing VCT EMEA Stage 2 campaign but still qualified for Champions Shanghai through Championship Points.

Vitality also recorded several notable international results during 2026, including a top-four finish at Masters London and a top-eight placement at the Esports World Cup.

Neo's comments echo similar statements from KOI representatives, who have also indicated that returning to VALORANT without partnership status would not be attractive to the organization.

Vitality will conclude its 2026 season at VALORANT Champions in Shanghai before Riot finalizes the next partnership cycle.
