LEVIATÁN assistant coach Jhein allowed to explore options after missing Champions
LEVIATÁN assistant coach Cristian "Jhein" Camaño has been allowed to explore opportunities elsewhere following the conclusion of the organization's 2026 VCT season.
Jhein remains in discussions with LEVIATÁN but confirmed that he is available as an unrestricted free agent.
Jhein open to Tier 1 and Tier 2 offers
The coach is considering head coach, assistant coach and academy positions.
He is open to opportunities across both Tier 1 and Tier 2 competition and is willing to relocate internationally.
Jhein speaks Spanish, English and Portuguese.
His history with LEVIATÁN stretches back almost four years through the organization's academy system before he joined the main roster as assistant coach for the 2026 season.
From academy project to Masters champion
Jhein entered VALORANT coaching in 2022 after previously competing professionally in Overwatch between 2016 and 2020.
His early VALORANT coaching work came with LEVIATÁN Academy, although he also spent a season with Furious Gaming in 2025.
He later returned as part of LEVIATÁN's academy-focused rebuild and was promoted alongside head coach Onur and players blowz and Neon .
That project produced immediate results.
LEVIATÁN finished second in VCT Americas Stage 1 and qualified for the organization's first international event since 2024.
Their rise continued at Masters London, where LEVIATÁN defeated Paper Rex 3:2 in the grand final to capture the first international trophy in organization history.
Historic Champions miss follows Masters title
Stage 2 ended very differently.
LEVIATÁN finished the group stage 4–1 but struggled during the playoffs and failed to secure qualification for VALORANT Champions Shanghai.
The result made LEVIATÁN the first organization in VCT history to win a Masters tournament and fail to qualify for Champions later in the same season.
Jhein is now the first member of the coaching staff publicly exploring alternatives following the end of that campaign.
LEVIATÁN have not announced a permanent replacement or confirmed Jhein's departure.
