Global Esports reverse sweep Nongshim RedForce 3-2 to win VCT Pacific Stage 2
Global Esports completed a historic reverse sweep over Nongshim RedForce to win the VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 championship.
GE fell behind 0:2 after being dismantled on Split, but responded with three consecutive victories to claim the organization's first VCT Pacific title.
The comeback also secured Global Esports the Pacific region's first seed for VALORANT Champions Shanghai.
Nongshim RedForce 2:3 Global Esports
Nongshim opened the grand final on their own pick of Sunset .
The map remained extremely competitive throughout, but NS found the stronger closing sequence and edged Global Esports 13:11.
Split was completely different.
Nongshim overwhelmed GE from the beginning and conceded only two rounds across the entire map.
The 13:2 victory put Nongshim ahead 2:0 and left them only one map away from the championship.
Global finally stop the bleeding on Abyss
With elimination approaching, Global Esports found their response on Abyss.
The third map remained close deep into the second half, but GE held their nerve and eventually secured a 13:10 victory.
That result did more than simply keep them alive.
It broke Nongshim's momentum and gave Global their first real foothold in the series.
UdoTan powers Lotus domination
Global Esports then completely took over Lotus.
UdoTan delivered one of his strongest performances of the final, recording 18 kills and 277 ACS.
GE dominated the map 13:5 and forced a fifth and final map.
After looking completely outmatched on Split, Global had now erased the entire 0:2 deficit.
Haven decides Pacific championship
The decider began evenly.
Global Esports and Nongshim RedForce entered halftime tied 6:6, leaving the Pacific title to be decided in a single half.
Global found the stronger defensive finish.
They won seven of the next 11 rounds and closed Haven 13:10, completing the reverse sweep.

UdoTan earns grand final MVP
Go " UdoTan " Kyung-won was named the VCT Pacific Stage 2 Grand Final MVP.
He finished the five-map series with 77 kills and 220 ACS, narrowly leading Global Esports in both categories during the championship match.
Nongshim's Francis was the highest-rated player by ACS across the entire server, finishing with 231 ACS, an 83/83/19 K/D/A and 149 ADR.
Historic first title for Global Esports
The championship marks Global Esports ' first-ever VCT Pacific trophy.
It is also the first Pacific regional title for all five players and head coach Platoon.
PatMen earns the second trophy of his career after previously winning Masters Toronto 2025 with Paper Rex , while autumn crossed 1,000 career VCT Pacific kills during the run.
Rookie IGL xavi8k also claims a regional championship in his debut season as a top-level caller.
Global Esports earned $100,000 for first place, while Nongshim RedForce received $65,000 as runner-up.
Both teams had already qualified for VALORANT Champions 2026, but GE will now travel to Shanghai as Pacific's first seed.
