After the conclusion of the lower bracket final of the VCT 2026: China Stage 2, all the teams representing China at the world championship have been determined. Slots were secured by JD Gaming , TYLOO , EDward Gaming , and XLG Esports .

JD Gaming guaranteed their participation in the tournament after defeating Bilibili Gaming with a score of 2:0 in the upper bracket final. The second direct slot was claimed by TYLOO , who advanced through the lower bracket by defeating All Gamers , Nova Esports , and Bilibili Gaming . In the decisive series against BLG, the team won 3:0 and advanced to the grand final of Stage 2.

EDward Gaming and XLG Esports qualified thanks to Championship Points. EDG finished the season in first place among teams without a direct slot, earning 20 points. XLG secured the second position with 18 points. The closest contenders, All Gamers and Bilibili Gaming , earned 13 and 12 points respectively.

VALORANT Champions 2026 will take place from September 24 to October 18 in Shanghai. The tournament will feature 16 teams, with four representatives each from Americas, EMEA, Pacific, and China. Teams will compete for a prize pool of $2,250,000.
