FUT Esports Head Coach to Miss Team Liquid Match Due to Suspension

FUT Esports announced that the head coach of their VALORANT roster, Berke "Vlad" Kanturk, has been suspended for one match. Due to this penalty, the coach will not be able to lead the team in the series against Team Liquid in the playoffs of VCT 2026: EMEA Stage 2.

The organization did not disclose the reason for the suspension or specify who made the decision to penalize the coach.

Previously, screenshots emerged on social media from a ranked match, showing the account "FUT Vlad#ftw" sending offensive messages related to Kurds and Kurdistan. Reddit users linked the profile to the FUT coach through match history and games played with yetujey .

However, neither FUT Esports nor Riot Games have publicly confirmed that the one-match suspension is directly related to these messages. The team has also not yet announced who will replace Vlad during the match against Team Liquid .
