VALORANT Unveils Teaser Cards for New Set

The Chinese division of VALORANT released a series of teasers for a new skin collection. The central theme of the set is magical playing cards, and the full presentation will take place on August 17 at 9:00 PM Chinese time, or 3:00 PM CEST.

In the first image, the developers showcased four color zones: Blue , purple, coral-pink, and red. In the center, you can notice the edge of a playing card, suggesting that these colors might be the design options for the upcoming skins. The publication is accompanied by the phrase: "When colors transcend the boundaries of imagination, true magnificence begins." Official teaser

In the subsequent videos, the collection's theme is revealed in more detail. Cards appear in a dark space, assemble into a deck, and rotate within a glowing magical structure. On their reverse side is a four-pointed symbol, which also appears in a separate short teaser.

Another video concludes with the phrase: "As the moonlight rises, the card game of fate begins."

Despite the visual focus on cards, the developers have not yet shown weapon models, animations, finishing moves, or melee items. The collection's name, its contents, pricing, and store release date remain unknown.

All details of the set will be revealed during a special broadcast. The Chinese announcement additionally mentions a weapon charm that viewers can receive for watching the broadcast, though it is not yet specified whether this reward will be available outside the Chinese region.
