On Responding to G2’s Trash Talk
After the match, BeYN explained why he responded to G2’s provocations only at the very end:
They’re known for the trash talking and the hyping and the doing movements across the stage. And so I had my eyes on them. I wanted to get a good comeback. And as soon as we were done, I did the bunny years. And I’m feeling spectacular from the win today.
On Overcoming Comeback Struggles
When asked about their struggles with closing out leads, which had reminded fans of Gentle Mates in EMEA, BeYN pointed to the team’s internal discussions:
I mean, I think it was a lot of the things that we weren’t able to close out at the end of the match and I think we actually had a lot of talks in the prep rooms. Hey, let’s try to overcome it. And we’re not out yet, so like one more match. Taking it slow by slow. And I think the results, the team talk played out perfectly today.
