Gen.G defeated Team Secret , while T1 unexpectedly lost to TALON - Results VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2

The third week of the VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 group stage began today, and there are many exciting events ahead for viewers. On the first day of play, two matches were played, the results of which we will tell you about below.

Gen.G Esports vs Team Secret
The first match was between favorites Gen.G and the weaker Team Secret , and it ended as expected. Gen.G easily defeated their opponents on the first map, Lotus, 13:3, and then went on to win 13:8 on their opponents' choice of map, Ascent.

TALON vs T1
In the second match, T1 faced TALON, and the match ended quite differently than everyone expected. Before the match, T1 was considered the favorite, but after two maps, the audience's opinion changed. On Corrode, the team defeated their opponents 13:10 after a hard fight, but on the second map, Lotus, TALON surprised everyone again and won 13:6.

As a result of the matches, Gen.G and TALON earned their third victory and secured a slot in the playoffs. T1 and Team Secret suffered defeats but will still have a chance to compete for the playoffs during the final week of play.

VCT 2025: Pacific Stage 2 runs from July 15 to August 31 in LAN format. Twelve partner teams from the Pacific region are competing for two direct invitations to Valorant Champions 2025, Pacific Points, and $250,000 in prize money.
