FUT Esports Defeats GIANTX , Gentle Mates Miss Playoffs - VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2

On the first day of the third week of play at VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2, two series took place: FUT Esports defeated GIANTX with a score of 2:1, and BBL Esports left no chance for Gentle Mates , finishing the match 2:0. Thanks to their victory, FUT Esports matched GIANTX in score and remained one win away from the playoffs. After losing to BBL Esports , Gentle Mates were eliminated from playoff contention.

FUT Esports vs. GIANTX
In the first match of the day, FUT Esports faced off against GIANTX . The series took place on the maps Sunset (13:11 in favor of GIANTX ), Haven (13:6 in favor of FUT), and Bind (13:5 in favor of FUT). Ultimately, FUT Esports won the series 2:1.

The best player of the match was Grzegorz “GRUBINHO” Ryczko from GIANTX . He achieved 242 ACS for the match, which is 18% higher than his average over the last 6 months. 

Gentle Mates vs. BBL Esports
In the second match of the day, Gentle Mates faced BBL Esports . The teams played on Sunset , with a score of 13:3 in favor of BBL Esports . On the second map, Lotus, the first half ended 10:2 in favor of Gentle Mates , but BBL managed to turn the game around and finish the match with a 14:12 victory. The series ended 2:0 in favor of BBL Esports .

The MVP of the match was Berkkan “СomeBack” Şentürk from Gentle Mates . He finished the series with 255 ACS, which is 2% below his average over the past six months. 

VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 2 is taking place from July 16 to September 1. During the tournament, 12 teams are competing for 2 slots at the VALORANT Champions 2025 and a prize pool of $250,000.
