Paper Rex and DRX have secured their spots at the Esports World Cup 2025 after defeating Team Secret and Global Esports respectively in the Asian Champions League 2025: EWC Pacific Qualifier. Both teams will now face each other in the qualifier final.

Paper Rex managed to defeat Team Secret for the first time in three years — and did so in a decisive qualifier match for EWC 2025. The team clinched a 2:0 victory (Pearl 13:5, Split 13:11). DRX vs Global Esports
DRX also comfortably defeated Global Esports with a 2:0 (Haven 13:10, Sunset 13:8) scoreline, securing their spot at EWC 2025, while Global Esports and Team Secret were eliminated from the qualifier and lost any chance of reaching the tournament. The qualifier final will be held on May 25, where the top team of the event will be decided. However, the outcome of this match won’t affect qualification, as both Paper Rex and DRX have already secured their spots at the EWC 2025.
