On April 10, Team Liquid and Team Heretics secured victories in their matches during the group stage of VCT 2025: EMEA Stage 1, allowing them to temporarily lead their respective groups. For Team Heretics , this win almost guarantees a playoff spot, while the fight for slots in Group Omega becomes even more intense.

Despite predictions from VALORANT fans and analysts favoring FUT Esports , Team Liquid proved otherwise — they destroyed their opponents on Lotus (FUT’s pick) with a crushing 13:1 score and secured a hard-fought victory on their own pick, Haven, with a 13:9 result. This was TL's second win in three Group Omega matches, allowing them to temporarily take the top spot. Their next match is scheduled for April 16.
