New type of Cosmetic Items, VCT Capsules, EX.O skin collection: What to expect in Valorant Patch 10.0
On January 6, Riot Games revealed not only the new agent Tejo, coming in patch 10.0, but also other new features and content. Here's a breakdown of everything players will receive in this major update.
New Type of Cosmetic Items
In addition to Tejo, the patch introduces a new type of cosmetic item — Flex , which can be used during matches. It serves no functional purpose and is purely for display. Two types of Flex items will be available at launch: one free for all players and another obtainable through the battle pass.
Map Rotation
The update will bring changes to the map rotation. Sunset and Ascent will be removed from the competitive pool, replaced by Fracture and Lotus. The total number of maps will remain at seven. Here’s the updated map pool for patch 10.0:

New Agent
Patch 10.0 introduces a new agent — Tejo, whose abilities have already been revealed. Players will be able to try him out from January 8-10 after the patch release. Like previous agents, Tejo won’t be available immediately; he must be unlocked by earning experience points over a month or purchased for 1,000 VP. After 30 days, he will be available for 8,000 KC. VCT Capsules
VCT Capsules are making a return in the upcoming update with changes. The key change is that Riot Games has standardized player cards across all teams — now differing only in colors and team logos.
Some organizations complained that certain collections sold much better than others. That’s why the developers decided to 'equalize' the cards.

EX.O Skin Collection and Battle Pass
Players can also expect a large number of new skins, including the EX.O Collection, featuring a cyber-themed design.
Patch Release Date
Patch 10.0 is scheduled for release on January 9-10. The exact date will depend on your region, with the patch arriving in America earlier than in Europe.
