
Another Chinese tournament announced during the Offseason – Valoran Superb Cup
The Valorant offseason continues with many exciting events on the horizon. Following China’s integration into the competitive regions, offseason events have started taking place there as well. Recently, another one was announced.
What we know about the Valoran Superb Cup :
The event was announced via the official Weibo account. It will be held online from December 8 to December 15. The tournament is organized by Chinese companies Huya and Douyu with support from Riot Games.

Tournament Format
The participants will be divided into two groups of four teams each. They will compete in a Single-Round Robin format. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. The playoffs will follow a Double-Elimination format, with all matches (except the lower bracket final and the grand final) being best-of-three.
Prize Pool
Despite featuring eight teams, including prominent VCT representatives, the Superb Cup has a relatively modest prize pool of $16,473, which will be distributed as follows:
1st place: $6,863
2nd place: $3,431
3rd place: $2,059
4th place: $1,372
5th-6th place: $686
7th-8th place: $686
