EDward Gaming team skins top sales charts across all regions

Last month, at VALORANT Champions 2024 in Korea, the Chinese team  EDward Gaming  secured victory, and it was revealed that sales of their team skins, available in the in-game store until September 13, reached record levels. The team manager, Pan, announced this on his stream.

New Player Card

According to Pan,  EDward Gaming  team skins took first place in the sales rankings across all regions. Their victory at the VALORANT Champions 2024 tournament and the placement on the game store’s main page played a key role in achieving this success, allowing the team to surpass popular competitors from other regions. It was also announced that next year, when a new player card is released, special features will be added to commemorate the team’s tournament victory.

Information on Team Skins

The team skins, introduced in February of this year, include a classic skin, a player card, a gun buddy, and a spray. 50% of the revenue from these skins goes back to the team.

Sales in the Chinese Market

The release of the skins for the Chinese league was delayed due to scheduling and began in may , with player cards and sprays not being included in the sale. On the day of release, a promotional campaign was held on the Chinese version of TikTok, Douyin, where the skins could be purchased through the website.  EDward Gaming  team skins sold out 74,000 sets in just 4 hours.
