Although EDG couldn't adapt to the changes Sentinels made during the first map, Haven, after several losses following their Masters victory, Sentinels indeed changed their entire playstyle and strengthened their lineup's flexibility. Fortunately, EDG withstood the pressure in the second map, Lotus, and dragged the match into the third map.
Upon entering the third map, EDG found their rhythm on the attacking side, achieving a 10:2 score in the first half, maximizing their margin for error. Despite Sentinels reclaiming a few points after winning the pistol round in the second half, the multiple match points put immense pressure on Sentinels. Ultimately, an unconventional aggressive push during an eco round ended the match, propelling EDG into the top four!
