VCL Northern Europe: Polaris is currently the least popular league among all the European regions, struggling with low viewership and a limited number of organizations willing to sign teams in this area. Recognizing these issues, the organizers have decided to implement significant changes, the first of which has already been announced.
The First Major Change
According to the official statement, none of the teams that participated in the VALORANT Challengers 2024 Northern Europe: Polaris Split 2 will retain their slot for the next season, meaning the league will undergo a complete reformat. From now on, to participate in the league, teams must be signed by professional organizations.

Slot Allocation for the Next Season
In the upcoming season, like the current one, there will be 8 teams. Two of these will qualify through ECLIPSE, while the remaining 6 teams will be selected based on applications submitted by organizations. Contact details for application submissions are available in the official statement.
