M80 , TSM , and four other teams qualify for VALORANT Challengers Ascension 2024: Americas

Six teams in the final tournament of this season will compete for a single slot in the VCT franchise league.

The Ascension tournament takes place in each gaming region and is a decisive stage for teams that have competed throughout the season for a chance to participate. The main value of this tournament is not the prize money, but a slot in the VCT, which will elevate the team from the Challengers league to the highest level. This will allow the team to compete against the world’s best clubs and improve their financial standing through prize winnings and revenue distribution from their future team capsule or other in-game items.

Six teams, two from each region: North America, Brazil, Latin America, will meet on September 10 to determine the best team that will receive the main prize of the season—a slot in the VCT for the next competitive year. Remember, last year's Ascension winner in America was G2 Esports (ex. The Guard), which managed to compete in the VCT and made it to this year’s Valorant Champions 2024. Whether a new team can repeat this success will only be known in a year.
