Boostio from 100 Thieves after the defeat: "Who wants to take my place?"

At the VCT Americas 2024 Stage 2 tournament, where teams compete for a spot in the 2024 World Championship,  100 Thieves  suffered a defeat to FURIA with a score of 0-2 in one of the key matches. However, attention was drawn not only to the results of the game but also to the words of  Boostio  before the match began.

100 Thieves , winners of Stage 1 and fourth place holders at Masters Shanghai, were confident in their victory. The speech by team player  Boostio  reflects this confidence, as he stated:

If we lose, I'll leave esports. Honestly, I don't even know who this team is.

 

Despite his bold statements, his team lost the match with a score of 0-2. After the defeat, the athlete wrote on social media: "Who wants to take my place in the team?", hinting at his departure. The official VCT Americas account then wished him good luck in the future.

Boostio  is known for his rare but striking statements. Last year, he promised to get a tattoo of the most popular image from the comments if T1 won the League of Legends World Championship. T1 indeed won, but it is unknown if Boostio fulfilled his promise.
