Selangor bounce back against Invictus as Team Flash beat Bigetron in MPL Malaysia

Selangor Red Giants returned to winning ways with a 2–0 victory over Invictus Gaming , while Team Flash defeated Bigetron MY by VIT 2–1 in MPL Malaysia Season 18.

The results gave Selangor an immediate response to their loss against Team Vamos and ended Team Flash ’s sequence of defeats.

Team Flash won the day’s earlier meeting against Bigetron in three games, reversing the outcome of their first regular-season encounter.

Bigetron had beaten Flash 2–1 on August 15. Flash’s return-leg victory split their league meetings and provided a welcome result after successive losses to RRQ Tora , Team Rey , Selangor, Vamos and Invictus.

Bigetron, who had lost 2–0 to Team Rey in their preceding fixture, were scheduled to face RRQ Tora on October 18.

Selangor completed their series without dropping a game, recovering from the previous day’s 2–0 defeat to Vamos.

The victory also completed a regular-season double over Invictus, following another 2–0 win in their August 15 meeting.

For Invictus, the defeat interrupted the momentum from their 2–0 victory over Team Flash on October 16. Selangor’s response kept them moving forward in the closing stretch of the regular season after an uneven run that also included a defeat to Team Rey .
