SAWO says Team Spirit are prioritising MCC title over bonus challenges

Team Spirit roamer Stanislav “ SAWO ” Reshnyak says his team are focused on winning MLBB Continental Championships Season 8, rather than pursuing the tournament’s additional challenges.

Speaking in an interview covered by Offstage, SAWO criticised the allocation of part of the prize pool to challenge-based rewards.

Championship remains the priority

SAWO said Spirit completed two straightforward challenges on the opening day but had not made completing further objectives a team goal.

He argued that the squad’s priority was finishing first at MCC, rather than changing its approach to collect supplementary rewards.

SAWO explains victories against Team Yandex

Discussing Spirit’s quick finishes against Team Yandex during the group stage, SAWO pointed to opportunities created when Yustinian was absent from base defence.

According to SAWO , Spirit recognised those openings and committed to ending games with a numerical advantage.

He also highlighted the significance of their gold lead, arguing that defending became difficult even when Yandex had all five players available.

The comments reflect Spirit’s emphasis on securing match victories and the championship itself.
