MCC Season 8 playoff bracket confirmed with three M8 World Championship places at stake
The playoff bracket for MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 has been finalized, with six teams set to compete for the regional title and three places at the M8 World Championship.
The tournament resumes on October 9, with the first stage played online before the final matches move to LAN on October 31.
Six teams remain
Aurevia Team will face Level UP in the opening round, while RAKUZAN take on CyberHero in the other first-round matchup.
Team Yandex and Team Spirit have already secured places in the upper-bracket semifinals and will face the winners of those opening series.
The first round will use a single-elimination format before the competition transitions into a double-elimination bracket.
Playoff schedule confirmed
October 9 will feature the two opening series, followed by the upper-bracket semifinals on October 10.
The upper-bracket final and lower-bracket semifinal are scheduled for October 11.
The competition then concludes on October 31 with the lower-bracket final and grand final.
Three Worlds places available
The championship winner will qualify directly for the M8 World Championship main stage.
The teams finishing second and third will also qualify for M8 but must begin their campaigns in the Wild Card stage.
The playoff results will therefore determine all three EECA representatives at the next world championship.
