Eight Mobile Legends: Bang Bang heroes to be revamped for S42 launch

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang will revamp eight heroes as part of the update launching with S42, a special season celebrating the game’s 10th anniversary.

The new season will begin on September 16, with the upcoming patch set to introduce changes to both hero visuals and selected gameplay mechanics. The developers will also refresh the visual design of the Sanctum Island map.

Details from the preliminary patch preview were shared through the official Mobile Legends: Bang Bang social media channels.

Eight heroes to receive updates

The S42 update will introduce changes to eight heroes from different regions of the Land of Dawn.

According to the developers, the revamps will include visual redesigns, although the full scope of the changes has not yet been revealed.

One of the most significant updates will affect Direbear from Northern Vale, who is set to receive a complete overhaul of his skill set.

The preview image also revealed the eight characters included in the update, while detailed information regarding their new abilities and other adjustments will be announced at a later date.

Sanctum Island to receive a new design

The upcoming patch will also introduce visual changes to Sanctum Island.

Preliminary versions of the redesigned map were shown in the announcement, though the developers noted that the images do not represent the final quality of the update.

No additional changes have been revealed so far.
