ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025: ONIC PH and RRQ Hoshi to face off in grand finals
ONIC Philippines and RRQ Hoshi are set to meet in the grand finals of the ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025.
ONIC Philippines and RRQ Hoshi are set to face off in the grand finals of ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Mastrers 2025 after they emerged victorious in the tournament's semifinals. ONIC Philippines took down Team Falcons PH to complete their journey to the grand finals while RRQ Hoshi defeated Team Liquid ID.
Team Falcons PH shocked ONIC Philippines in game one with their absolute control of the map, riding their momentum from the quarterfinals to strike first blood against the M6 World Champions and take game one for themselves.
Realising they are one game down, ONIC Philippines tried to make the series equal in the second game. While early on, they finally looked ready, a couple of mistakes almost cost them another game before they regained their composure to secure the second game. The third and fourth games were then a showcase of why ONIC Philippines are the M6 World Champions, as they mercilessly outclassed Team Falcons PH in both games to secure themselves a spot in the grand finals.
The RRQ Hoshi -Team Liquid ID matchup looked like a repeat of the previous series, with the challenger from the quarterfinals taking game one against their opponents that earned a direct berth to the semifinals. Team Liquid ID took the opening win against RRQ Hoshi , who were undefeated in the group stage, after 16 minutes of pure domination.
However, the shock only lasted one game. RRQ Hoshi quickly dismantled their challengers in game two, prompting the destruction of Team Liquid ID's base turrets inside 12 minutes. The third and fourth games were almost a copy-paste of the second game, as at no point in both games did the Cavalry looked like a threat to the King of Kings. Ultimately, the series ended in a 3-1 victory for RRQ Hoshi , as Team Liquid ID bowed out of the tournament.
ESL Snapdragon Pro Series Mobile Masters 2025 will continue with the grand finals on 13 April 2025 with a showdown between ONIC Philippines and RRQ Hoshi .
