Gaining First Victory Over EVOS, Coach Farr Reveals Why RBL Lost in a Row

Rebellion Esports, only won once in a match against EVOS Glory in the continuation of the fourth week of MPL ID S14, with a score of 2-0 without reply.

With this victory, Rebellion Esports took over eighth place in the standings, and pushed EVOS Glory to the bottom of the standings.

The losing streak experienced by Rebellion Esports is certainly not something that the coaching staff or the roster itself wants. Everything has been done to navigate MPL ID S14 by overhauling the roster.

However, Coach Farr, the head coach of Rebellion Esports revealed several key factors that caused his team's losing streak.

Coach Farr Reveals Reasons for RBL's Consecutive Losses in MPL ID S14

Regarding the reasons for the consecutive defeats experienced by RBL, Coach Farr admitted that there was a problem in the form of a loss of identity within the team as a whole (08/30/2024).

In addition, problems also arise in the game. There are many moments where Coach Farr said his students lack confidence to initiate.

This initiation is explained in the form of pick off, starting a fight to win Lord or Turtle, to a game that is not sure where it is going, because the RBL players more often follow the enemy and act passively.

"There is a loss of identity, several times if you pay attention, we seem to hesitate when we want to make a move. Like pick off, war initiation, rotation also just following the enemy's movement. Our self-confidence also decreases because of that," said Farr.

However, he stated that he had taken steps to address what had happened so far.

However, like the hands of a clock that always turn, the points of weakness that he had explained, were repeated.

"We have made several improvements and repeated them every week. I myself have given them (RBL roster) a lot of input, in the form of motivation, giving recommendations for heroes that make them confident. We also tried all kinds of drafts.

"If we look at the second game (BTR Alpha vs RBL), it was a representation of what we have been trying to implement all this time. But, in the third game we became passive again," said Farr.

With the first victory that RBL achieved, the mental and also the mind of the players who had been destroyed, could be restored in a few moments. Because, it cannot be denied, the most effective medicine to overcome the problem is victory.
