MSC 2024: Liquid Echo defeat Falcon Esports to advance to semi-final

Liquid Echo defeated  Falcon Esports  in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2024 quarter-final. The MPL Phillippines Season 13 champion defeated the Myanmar representatives with a 3-1 score to advance to the tournament's semi-final, part of the Esports World Cup 2024.

The Philippines representative struck first against Falcon Esports , with a shaky start to the day for the production side of the tournament. Although the Alucard pick is questionable, the bans for both teams didn’t show up on the live stream to evaluate with complete clarity. Ultimately, the Alucard pick didn’t work, as Sanford completely dominated the field.

The second game was a more balanced battle between both teams, with Falcon Esports picking Ruby in EXP Lane instead of Alucard. However, Falcon, with their unique style of the draft, picked another unconventional hero for their Roamer. However, the same result happened for game two as Liquid Echo defeated them again in the second game.

Repeating the pattern of game two, Falcon Esports took another unconventional hero for their lineup. This time, Zhask was picked for Px7 to fight against Sanji ’s Valentina. The difference was now the pick worked as Zhask could counter every gank attempt from Liquid Echo. It also enabled the Ling to roam successfully and made RoyalMilk's job as the anchor easier.

The fourth game between Liquid Echo and Falcon Esports was a complete shutout from Liquid Echo. No kill was given to Falcon Esports as the champion of MPL Phillippines S13 played perfectly to their hero limit. The perfect example of this was when  Sanford “ Sanford ” Vinuya dived the turret and out into the absolute limit of his HP to secure the end of Falcon Esports .

Liquid Echo will continue their effort in MSC 2024, facing the winner of  Falcons AP.Bren  versus  See You Soon , which takes place on 11 July 2024.
