Veteran roamer, Calvin “ VYN ” is one of the senior players who has remained in the competitive MPL Indonesia scene until the 13th season. During his professional career, VYN was synonymous with 2 big teams, namely RRQ Hoshi and Bigetron Alpha .

Indeed, VYN first rose to fame from RRQ. Then he succeeded in building Bigetron Alpha and returned to defend RRQ Hoshi from MPL ID S4 to MPL ID S11.

VYN 's departure back to Bigetron was driven by his personal motivation to develop outside RRQ with the Red Robot team which had not yet lifted the MPL trophy. The captain's courage to take big steps invited a lot of support.

1. VETERAN PLAYER WHO BEEN GREAT IN 2 DIFFERENT TEAMS

Continuing the previous explanation, VYN really grew up in 2 different teams, namely Team RRQ and Bigetron. Young VYN also had a career with BOOM JR in MPL ID S2, when he joined RRQ, VYN 's great potential began to appear.

That's what made him recruited by Bigetron Esports and reached the MPL ID S3 playoffs, even sending PSG RRQ home. Then, VYN joined RRQ Hoshi for MPL ID S4 and successfully advanced to the M1 World Championship.

RRQ Hoshi 's great journey continued to MPL ID S5 and MPL ID S6 where VYN et al became back-to-back champions.

VYN 's career journey throughout 2022-2023 is quite winding. He has experienced success in appearing in the MLBB M2, M3, M4 world tournaments. Not only that, VYN and RRQ managed to advance to the 2022 MSC Grand Final.

Unfortunately, behind it all there has been no major success achieved with RRQ Hoshi apart from big wins at MPL Indonesia 3 times in a row. He then returned to Bigetron in the second half of 2023, until now.

2. BACK-TO-BACK MPL INDONESIA CHAMPION WITH RRQ

Even though he hasn't shone on the international stage, VYN 's biggest achievement while defending RRQ Hoshi was becoming a captain who had a big impact.

Evidently, he succeeded in donating 3 Indonesian MPL champion trophies in MPL ID Season 5, Season 6 in 2020 and MPL ID Season 9 in 2022. The last achievement he achieved with RRQ was finishing in 4th place in MPL ID S11, and finishing in 3rd place in the M4 World Championship.

Successfully winning two MPL ID S5 and S6 trophies, VYN and RRQ Hoshi became the first back to back champions in Indonesia.

Of course, this achievement is a big part of VYN 's career. Now, the captain is trying a new challenge with Bigetron Alpha .

3. PLAYERS WHO ARE NEVER ABSENT IN THE MLBB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

Thanks to their brilliant performances in every season, VYN and RRQ Hoshi always advance to the MLBB World Championship (MSeries).

Since 2019, when the MLBB World Championship was first announced in Malaysia (M1), RRQ and VYN managed to get there as runners-up in MPL ID S4. Likewise, in 2020, when they succeeded in becoming MPL ID S6 champion, RRQ Hoshi had the right to advance to the M2 World Championship.

This will continue in 2021 and 2022 where RRQ Hoshi as runner-up in MPL ID S8 and MPL ID S10 gave VYN et al tickets to the M3 and M4 World Championship.

Unfortunately, his performance with Bigetron Alpha , which was quite brilliant in MPL ID S12, was still unable to take VYN et al to the M5 World Championship. This meant that for the first time the captain was absent from advancing to the world competition stage.
