SK Gaming reportedly brings back 3XA as it rebuilds around SlowQ for 2027
SK Gaming is reportedly preparing a major roster overhaul for the 2027 LEC season, retaining mid laner Seo “SlowQ” Ye-bit and bringing back AD carry Thomas “3XA” Foucou.
Separate reports from Sheep Esports identify SlowQ and 3XA as the foundation of the new lineup. The remaining three positions have not been settled publicly.
3XA returns to his former organization
Previously known as Exakick, 3XA played for SK from early 2023 until being benched in 2024. His first stint included a top-four finish in the 2023 Winter Split before the team’s results declined.
The reported return would reunite him with SlowQ, his former Karmine Corp Blue teammate. The pair played together during the organization’s successful 2025 regional campaign, which included an EMEA Masters championship.
3XA spent parts of 2026 with French Flair and Joblife. According to the report, he accepted an early offer from SK despite competition for LEC AD carry positions during the offseason.
SlowQ remains the central piece
SlowQ joined SK’s starting lineup in July, replacing LIDER, and is contracted until November 15, 2027. Sheep Esports reports that SK intends to retain him and has no plans to sell his contract.
Wunder, Skeanz, Jopa and Mikyx have contracts expiring on November 16, 2026. Their departures have not all been officially confirmed, but the reports indicate that SK is exploring replacements.
The rebuild follows another season without an LEC playoff appearance. SK finished 11th at LEC Versus and eighth in both Spring and Summer, leaving the organization searching for a more successful foundation for 2027.
