K/DA and True Damage confirmed for Worlds 2026 opening ceremony
Riot Games has confirmed that K/DA and True Damage will perform during the opening ceremony of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship final at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
The ceremony is scheduled for November 15 at 02:00 GMT+7, corresponding to November 14 at 14:00 in New York. Fans will be able to watch the Mastercard-presented show through the official LoL Esports broadcast.
Two returning acts take the Worlds stage
The announcement follows K/DA’s return with the four-track Firestarter EP and True Damage’s release of this year’s Worlds anthem, Know My Name.
K/DA previously appeared at the 2018 and 2020 World Championships. True Damage debuted at the 2019 final in Paris with Giants, making this its second Worlds opening-ceremony appearance.
Performance details remain unannounced
Riot’s announcement confirms the two groups’ participation, but it does not establish the complete live performer lineup or song selection. Those details remain outstanding ahead of the final.
The ceremony will precede the championship-deciding series, closing a tournament that began with the Play-In in Los Angeles before moving to Texas for the Swiss stage and earlier knockout rounds.
