Team Vitality shut down Vitality.Bee academy and withdraw from LFL
Team Vitality have announced the closure of Vitality.Bee , ending the organization's participation in the French Ligue Française de League of Legends (LFL) after seven years.
The decision follows growing uncertainty surrounding the future of France 's second-tier competitive ecosystem and the organization's intention to dedicate more resources to its main LEC roster.
Vitality cite uncertainty surrounding LFL
According to RFT.GG, Vitality co-founder Fabien "Neo" Devide identified several factors behind the decision.
These included Webedia's withdrawal as the LFL's league operator, uncertainty over the competition's future and the organization's plans to increase investment in its LEC team.
Vitality thanked the academy's players, coaching staff and supporters for their contributions over the years.
The organization described the closure as the conclusion of the current project rather than ruling out future developmental initiatives entirely.
Seven-year academy project ends
Vitality.Bee had competed in the LFL since 2019, serving as a development platform for emerging talent.
The academy finished the LFL 2026 Summer regular season in eighth place with a 5–4 record.
Its playoff campaign ended after consecutive defeats against Solary , 1–2, and Ici Japon Corp. Esport , 0–2.
