Stend retires from professional League of Legends

French support Paul " Stend " Lardin has announced his retirement from professional League of Legends at the age of 25.

The decision brings an end to a seven-year playing career that included competition in the LFL, LVP, TCL and LEC.

Career began in the French scene

Stend started competing in 2019 through the French Open Tour before joining GamersOrigin Academy in LFL Division 2 in 2020.

He later played for the Tony Parker Adéquat Academy alongside Sheo before moving abroad to join Dusty in the NLC.

That stint produced his first trophy and his first EMEA Masters appearance.

Stend returned to France with Vitality.Bee in 2024 and helped the team reach the EMEA Masters grand final.

LEC career ends with Shifters

His performances eventually earned him an opportunity with Team Heretics in the LEC, where he once again played alongside Sheo .

In 2026, Stend spent time with Misa Esports before returning to the LEC with Shifters for the final stage of his playing career.

Stend said he now wants to continue on a different path and is open to opportunities in team management, whether in League of Legends or another game, while also continuing his studies.
