Team Liquid sweep FlyQuest to qualify for Worlds 2026

Team Liquid have qualified for Worlds 2026 after sweeping FlyQuest 3:0 in the upper-bracket semifinal of the LCS 2026 Summer playoffs.

Liquid controlled the first two games before overcoming a stronger FlyQuest performance in Game 3 to complete the series without dropping a map.

The victory guarantees Team Liquid at least a top-three finish in the LCS playoffs and therefore one of North America's three Worlds berths.

Liquid cruise through opening games

Team Liquid opened the series with an 18:4 kill victory in 33 minutes and 43 seconds.

Game 2 followed a similar pattern.

Liquid again established control and finished with 19 kills to FlyQuest 's three, closing the map after 32 minutes and 30 seconds.

FlyQuest lead before late collapse

FlyQuest produced their strongest showing in Game 3.

They secured the Rift Herald, first Baron, and reached Soul Point while keeping Liquid contained through much of the early and mid game.

Their advantage disappeared around the next Dragon fight, however, after an attempted engage failed to deliver the intended result.

Liquid took over the fight, secured the objective, and later converted another Baron before closing the series.

Game 3 ended after 42 minutes and 57 seconds with Liquid ahead 12:7 in kills.

The 3:0 victory sends Team Liquid deeper into the upper bracket and guarantees their appearance at Worlds 2026.

FlyQuest drop into the lower bracket, where they will need to survive the elimination path to keep their own Worlds hopes alive.
