League of Legends Patch 26.19 buffs top lane and melee supports ahead of Worlds
Riot Games has revealed the full preview for League of Legends Patch 26.19, the first of two updates leading into Worlds 2026.
The patch focuses on improving top lane influence through Teleport changes, strengthening melee supports, and adjusting several champions including Lucian, Master Yi, Nasus, and Ryze.
Riot is aiming to make targeted changes without dramatically reshaping the competitive meta immediately before the World Championship.
Top lane receives Teleport improvements
The Top Role Quest version of Teleport will receive a shorter cooldown.
Its base cooldown will be reduced from 420 to 390 seconds, while upgraded Teleport will receive an additional 30-second cooldown reduction.
Riot explained that top lane remains strong and popular at lower and mid skill levels, but its influence decreases significantly in higher-level play.
The changes are intended to give experienced top laners more opportunities to affect the map while strengthening the role's split-push identity.
Melee supports receive more sustain
World Atlas and Runic Compass will also be adjusted.
The items will provide less direct health but significantly more health regeneration, helping melee supports survive poke from ranged champions during the laning phase.
World Atlas and Runic Compass health will change from 30/100/200 to 0/60/150, while health regeneration will increase from 25%/50%/75% to 50%/75%/75%.
Champion buffs and nerfs
Aatrox, Aphelios, Aurora , Draven, Elise, Fiora , Kha'Zix, Lillia, Master Yi, and Volibear are among the champions receiving buffs.
Nasus, Nocturne, Poppy, Rumble, Ryze, and Vi will be nerfed.
Nasus will lose 10 base damage from his Q at every rank, while Nocturne's ultimate cooldown will increase.
Vi will lose two base attack damage and have her passive shield reduced from 12% to 10% of her maximum health.
Lucian will receive adjustments rather than a direct buff or nerf.
His passive Vigilance damage will be reduced, while his Q base damage will increase in an effort to reduce his reliance on specific support pairings and improve his solo-lane performance.
Patch 26.19 will be followed by one final balance update before Worlds 2026 begins.
