The team defeated Hanwha Life Esports 3:1 in the Grand Final to become back-to-back LCK Season champions.

The first major warning came at First Stand 2026, where Gen.G suffered a heavy defeat against G2 Esports .
Their struggles continued once the LCK 2026 Season began.
Gen.G dropped series against several direct domestic rivals, including T1 , Hanwha Life Esports , and Dplus KIA , losing the dominant form they had displayed earlier in the year.
