G2 Esports officially part ways with Dylan Falco after nearly five years

G2 Esports have officially parted ways with Dylan Falco, bringing an end to a tenure that began ahead of the 2022 season.

Falco had already stepped down from his position as Head Coach in July 2026, when Luka "Perkz" Perković took over the active roster, but he remained part of the organization until G2 confirmed his full departure.

Falco leaves after successful G2 tenure

During his time with G2 Esports , Falco oversaw several roster iterations and helped the organization remain one of Europe's leading League of Legends teams.

His tenure included multiple domestic championships and regular appearances at international tournaments.

Among G2's notable achievements during the period were:

• 11 LEC trophies

• First Stand 2026 — runner-up

• Worlds 2025 — quarterfinal

• Mid-Season Invitational 2026 — fourth place

• Mid-Season Invitational 2022 — semifinal

Perkz had already taken over coaching duties

G2 changed their coaching structure following Mid-Season Invitational 2026, moving Falco away from the Head Coach position and appointing Perkz in July.

Falco remained under contract with the organization after the change, meaning the latest announcement marks his official departure from G2.

The move closes one of the longest recent coaching tenures in the organization's League of Legends history.
