Esports World Cup 2026 League of Legends Groups Revealed
The groups for the League of Legends tournament at the Esports World Cup 2026 have been announced.
The event will take place from July 15 to 19 in Paris, featuring 16 teams competing for a $2 million prize pool. Teams were drawn into four groups using a seeding system, with no two teams from the same region placed in the same group.

Group A
G2 Esports — first seed from EMEA and LEC 2026 Spring champion
AG.AL — first seed from the Chinese qualifiers
Dplus KIA — second seed from the Korean qualifiers
FURIA — first seed from CBLOL
Group B
Team Secret — first seed from LCP
Generation Gaming — reigning tournament champion
Karmine Corp — first seed from the European qualifiers
Sentinels — first seed from the North American qualifiers
Group C
Bilibili Gaming — first seed from LPL
T1 — first seed from the Korean qualifiers
GAM Esports — first seed from the APAC qualifiers
Movistar KOI — second seed from the European qualifiers
Group D
Hanwha Life Esports — first seed from LCK and winner of LCK 2026 Road to MSI
LYON — first seed from LCS
JD Gaming — second seed from the Chinese qualifiers
MIBR.LOS — first seed from the South American qualifiers
The group stage will use a GSL double-elimination format. Opening matches will be played as best-of-one series, while elimination matches will be best-of-three. The top two teams from each group will advance to the playoffs.
The playoffs will use a single-elimination format. All playoff matches will be best-of-three, except for the grand final, which will be played as a best-of-five series.
The tournament winner will also secure a seed for the Esports World Cup 2027.
